This dataset contains monthly information for the consumer prices index produced by FIPE. The IPC-FIPE is the consumer price index of the Municipality of São Paulo. The IPC-Fipe is the most traditional consumer price index and one of the oldest inflation index numbers in the country. Currently, its main singularity is considering four-week price variations, that is, it compares data from a 4-week moving group with data from the previous 4 weeks.
