Alphacast

This data set contains the main monthly labor indicators for Colombia collected through the Great Integrated Household Survey. It is a continuous investigation, which is applied throughout the national territory and whose main objective is
provide basic information on the size and structure of the workforce of the country (employment, unemployment, and inactivity), as well as sociodemographic characteristics that allow characterizing the population according to sex, age, relationship with the head of the household, educational level, affiliation to the social security health system, among others.
The information is reported seasonally adjusted and in thousands. 

Note: Due to the change in the GEIH collection operation due to the COVID-19 pandemic, it was not possible to obtain underemployment information between the months of March and July 2020.
