This dataset includes quarterly Gross Domestic Product (GDP) by expenditure approach, published by the central bank of the Dominican Republic. The data are presented as chained volume indices, with 2007 as the reference year.

Note: Inventory variation is the residual variable in the estimation of GDP using the expenditure approach, and its result frequently changes sign, which complicates the interpretation of the chained index growth rate for this component. The analysis of this variable’s behavior is conducted through its contribution to the percentage variation in the aggregate to which it belongs, that is, its impact on GDP growth expressed in percentage points. Growth rates are disclosed only for gross fixed capital formation.
