This dataset includes yearly information of the local government index published by World Bank, for multiple countries. The local government index indicates whether the local government is elected and whether it is empowered in relation to the central government, while another indicator assesses the freedom and fairness of subnational elections. Scaled to range from 0 (lowest score) to 1 (highest score).
