This dataset includes monthly data on crime offenses (current methodology) covering common-jurisdiction crimes. It provides state-level crime incidence statistics. Crime incidence refers to the number of offenses recorded in investigations or case files initiated by state Attorney General’s Offices or Prosecutor’s Offices under common jurisdiction.
